Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) means not producing enough insulin or producing very less amount of Insulin which is necessary for regulating blood glucose levels.

Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) is one among the types of Diabetes. There are 2 types. Type 1 (T1D) & Type 2 (T2D)

Reason for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D)

Reason for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) is due to autoimmune condition in which the immune system attacks and destroys the insulin producing beta cells in the internal organ, Pancreas.
